The local airport is East Midlands airport, which has BMI baby and Ryanair flights

The 4 main London airports (Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton) are also within easy access by train or National Express bus. EasyJet operates at all London airport.

TRAINS

The train station is about a 15 minute walk from the centre. Alternatively tyou may prefer to pick up a taxi, which will cost about £6 to any of the central hotels. Alternatively you could travel by tram, see below.

NATIONAL EXPRESS COACHES

This is simple and ecconomical but may take longer. For example a return journey from Heathrow to Nottingham will take about 3-4 hours and cost about £40.

TAXIS

Taxis are readily avaiable outside the train and bus station and will cost about £6 to central hotels.

TRAM

Upon arrival at Nottingham Train station follow the signs for the tram (Nottingham Express Transit), to the Station Street tram stop nearby. Alight at Royal Centre which is the nearest stop for the Conference Centre. Nottingham Trent University’s City site also has its own tram stop on Goldsmith Street.
