Participation fee:

PARTIAL: 230 € includes: registration, social events (Welcome reception & Farewell dinner).
FULL: 300 € includes all the above plus coffees and lunches.
ACCOMPANYING GUESTS: 70 € for social events.

Assistance with the Cost of Attendance
Thanks to Marie Curie funding we are able to offer this conference free of charge to young scientists who successfully apply for one of the fully funded places.
This includes accommodation, scientific sessions, congress material, meals, social events and travel expenses. Participation fee will be paid at source, but travel expenses will be reimbursed after attendance, up to an average of 378 euros.

Additionally, 15 non-European Students and postdoctoral workers, not therefore eligible for Marie Curie Attendance Awards, who submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations will be selected for an ESCMID sponsored full Conference Registration. These will be assigned on a first-come basis

FULLY FUNDED MARIE CURIE PLACES FOR YOUNG EU RESEARCHERS

Training the next generation of clostridial researchers is a major conference goal. As a consequence of European funding, under the Marie Curie SCF initiative, we have places for 50 FULLY FUNDED YOUNG RESEARCHERS, to be awarded in ADVANCE of the meeting. The following places are available:

• Group 1(30 places):- Early Stage Researchers who are currently undertaking a PhD in a European Member State or Associated State*, and have less than 4 years post-graduate/diploma research experience;
• Group 2(15 places): Experienced Researchers who have obtained a doctorate and are currently undertaking research in a European Member State or Associated State* but have less than 10 years post-graduate/diploma research experience.
• Group 3 (5 places): Experienced Researchers who are a national of a European Member or Associated State* and have obtained a doctorate, have more than 10 years post-graduate/diploma research experience, and are undertaking research in a country other than a European Member or Associated State*, ie., outside of Europe.

PLEASE NOTE

There are limited spaces at the conference, so delegates are advised to register an interest as soon as possible.

Shortly after registration, you will be sent a form in order to pay your fees to the University of Nottingham by Euro cheque or Electronic transfer.

ADDITIONALLY:

- Due to the EU regulations we can only accept a limited number of participants from each EU country or associated state.
- English is the official language of the meeting. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
- Registrants who have paid for meals and coffee will receive a set of vouchers on site.
